Australia Awards Short Courses offer the next generation of global leaders an opportunity to undertake short-term study, research and professional development in support of key development and foreign affairs priorities. Short Course opportunities build valuable people-to-people links both within Australia and across the Indo-Pacific region, enabling mid-career professionals and emerging leaders to tap into Australian expertise and to exchange valuable skills and knowledge.

Australia Awards – South Asia & Mongolia is seeking an Australian Higher Education provider or an Australian Registered Training Organisation to deliver Australia Awards Short Courses. For details regarding the request for tender for each Course, please click on the Course name below.

This program aims to enhance participants’ workplace competitiveness and cultivate women to become the next generation of Mongolian leaders. Additionally, it contributes to alumni leadership and professional development, aligning with the overall goals and objectives of Australia AwardsMongolia.  The program will look to enhance participants’ leadership and decision-making skills, provide support to help alumni broaden their knowledge of issues important to Mongolia’s future, and support alumni to access opportunities to contribute to and influence the future of Mongolia.

The program will also provide the opportunity for alumni to establish, develop and expand diverse personal and professional networks, develop links between Australia and Mongolia, and improve alumni’s understanding of gender equality, particularly as it relates to leadership.

This Women’s Leadership Program will be delivered in Mongolia, face to face, over six months, commencing in December 2024 and completing no later than June 2025.

The program will support up to 20 participants.

To be eligible to tender for the design and delivery of this program, the lead business must be a ‘legal entity’ in Mongolia.

This Short Course will be delivered via mixed mode delivery (online and face-to-face in Australia). Delivery will be over six months, commencing early 2025 and completing no later than June 2025.

This Short Course will support up to 20 participants.

This Short Course will allow participants from Nepal, Bangladesh and Mongolia to explore Australian Indigenous environmental management and conservation practices. The primary purpose of this Short Course is to equip participants with knowledge, skills and tools needed to support and enhance environmental conservation work in their home countries. The course will include a combination of workshops, field visits and interactive sessions with Indigenous community members. Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with Indigenous knowledge holders and community leaders, facilitating a meaningful understanding of Indigenous perspectives on environmental management and conservation.

The Short Course will be delivered via a blended mode (online, in-Australia and in-region) using various connected learning strategies. Delivery of the course will be over six months, commencing in early 2025 and completing no later than June 2025.

This Short Course will support up to 20 participants.
