Alumni
Australia Awards alumni are current and future leaders, influencers and change-makers.
Globally, alumni of Australia’s education institutions are highly talented, mobile, and equipped with skills and knowledge made possible by their Australian qualifications.
All recipients of Australia Awards become part of the Australia Global Alumni network, connecting them to Australia and to each other – building an engaged and influential global network of leaders and advocates, and establishing a network of ambassadors for Australia and its first-class education system.
There are more than 9,000 Australia Awards alumni, with strong alumni communities across Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka that actively engage with, develop linkages with and promote Australia.
Alumni engagement activities are organised across the region throughout the calendar year.
The Australia Global Alumni website is a virtual global network to connect, build and invigorate the international community of scholars who have studied in Australia, and Australians who have studied overseas
